LINE chatbot and Messaging API development

The LINE Messaging API lets your own software talk to customers through your LINE Official Account: answer messages, send booking confirmations and order updates, and pass every chat to your CRM. We build that software and the chatbot that runs on it.

What we build

A LINE Official Account that works with your systems.

Chatbots that answer

Menu and keyword flows, or AI replies based on your own information, with a hand-over to a person when the bot should not answer.

Flex Messages

Booking confirmations, receipts and product cards with buttons, laid out for the chat instead of plain text.

Notifications from your systems

Reminders, order and payment updates, and alerts sent the moment something happens in your software.

Webhooks into your CRM

Every follow, message and button tap saved against the right customer, matched by LINE user ID with consent.

Staff alerts in LINE groups

New orders, bookings or problems posted to your team’s LINE group by the bot.

Secure by default

Every webhook signature checked on the server, and personal data kept out of logs.

LINE Notify

LINE Notify has closed. The Messaging API replaces it.

LINE Notify ended on 31 March 2025 and its API no longer works. LINE recommends the Messaging API for sending notifications to users. Moving over means a LINE Official Account with a Messaging API channel and messages sent from your system; we do that move for you, including alerts to staff groups.

    Design the messages

Flows and Flex Message layouts you review before we build them.

  3. 03

    Build & connect

The webhook server, the bot logic and the link to your CRM, tested in a test LINE Official Account.

  4. 04

    Launch & tune

Switch on in your real account, watch delivery and replies, and adjust the flows.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

What is the LINE Messaging API?

It is the API behind a LINE Official Account’s bot. LINE sends each event, such as a message or a button tap, to a webhook on your server, and your server answers with reply or push messages.

How much does sending LINE messages cost?

Messages you send count against your LINE Official Account plan, and LINE sets the plans and prices. We work out the message volume with you before launch; our Messaging API guide covers pricing.

Can the chatbot hand over to a person?

Yes. We design when the bot stops and a person takes over, and where your team sees and answers the chat.

Can the chatbot use AI?

Yes. AI replies work best when they are based on your own information, such as prices, opening hours and policies, and pass anything uncertain to a person.

Do we need the LINE Bot SDK?

LINE publishes official SDKs for the Messaging API in several programming languages. They save time but are not required; the choice follows what your backend already runs.
